Museums & cultural visits
Around the Moulin du Landion
In Troyes, capital of the Champagne region, there are many thematic guided tours, such as discovering the city's industrial heritage with the Musée de la Bonneterie (hosiery museum), visiting workers' quarters with accounts of their daily lives in the 19th century, as well as visits to mansions.
It is possible to go back much further in history with the discovery of the Cathedral of St Peter and St Paul where the Council of Troyes took place which made the Templar Order official in 1129. The exterior of the former Commandery of the Temple can be visited.
